Alice has been an Orthodontic Technician with our practice since 1999. In 2008 she accepted the position of New Patient Coordinator. Alice and her husband Steve have lived in Newport News since 2003. Steve teaches Spanish at CNU along with being head coach for CNU’s men’s soccer team. They have three children. Their oldest son Joshua, wife Terresa and two children live in VA beach. Their daughter Angelina is married and lives in Fayetteville, NC. Derek, the youngest of the family lives and works in New York City. Alice is very active in her church and enjoys soccer and vacations at the beach with her family and friends.

Carol has been an orthodontic technician with our practice since 1999. She attended new Horizons Regional Educational Center, where she successfully completed her requirements for dental assisting along with receiving her X-ray certification. Besides working chair side, she also has extended duties in correspondence, records and front desk, when needed. She has been married to her husband, Kevin, since 1998, and they have three children and one grandchild between them.

Katrina has been with our practice since 1990. She began her career in orthodontics in 1988 as a clinical assistant. In 2006, she accepted the position of Office Manager. She has successfully completed EMT training, X-ray certification, new patient coordinator, credit management courses and is a Notary Public. She has been married since 1992 and has three girls, Chardonnay, Cabernet and Champagne (which are Shih Tzus). She enjoys traveling, boating and gardening.

Kelly has been with our practice since 1999. She began her career in orthodontics in 1986 as a Clinical Assistant. In 2005 she accepted the position of Clinical Coordinator. She is married and has two daughters, Katelyn and Morgan who are avid lacrosse and field hockey players. The family enjoys the beach, traveling and weekends on the field.

Sharon has been with our practice since November 2000. Sharon and her husband Jim have one son, Mike, who is married to Rebecca. In her spare time, she likes to do one stroke painting, genealogy, Native American research and enjoys spending time with her grand-daughter, Grace. She also teaches dance and is a licensed cosmetologist. Sharon loves animals, enjoys watching all kinds of wildlife and has a Honduran Tangerine Milk snake named Bandit and a Jack Russell named Apache.

Laura is a lifelong Poquoson resident and received her dental assisting and x-ray certificate at Thomas Nelson Community College in 2000. She has been working in orthodontics since 2001 and has a real passion for her work. Laura and her son Steven enjoy outdoor activities like going to the beach, boating, camping and spending time with friends and family.

Amanda received her dental assisting and X-ray certification at New Horizons Regional Education Center in May of 2003. She has been in the orthodontic field since September 2002. Her favorite part about her job is the interaction with the patients. Amanda and her husband Shawn have been married since 2004. They have a daughter, Alannah, born in December 2009.

Betty was born in Pennsylvania and traveled as a military wife for many years, eventually bringing her to the peninsula. She has two wonderful children, a daughter named Corajeanne and a son named Jim. She also has five grandchildren. She enjoys racing (NASCAR and watching her grandson race at Virginia Motor Speedway). Her favorite pastime is spending time with family and friends. As a bookkeeper for many years, she has been given and blessed with many opportunities in the business world.

Donna has been an Orthodontic Assistant since 1999. She and her husband, Dennis, have a son Kyle and two daughters Kaylee and Chelsea. They moved to York County in 2004 from Newport News. They enjoy camping trips when they can and spending time with friends.

Angela has been with our practice since Sept. 2009. She is the Scheduling Coordinator for the practice. Her husband, Jose is in the Army. They have enjoyed all the traveling that they have gotten to experience with the military. She has 2 children, Laviana & Jose Jr. that keep her very busy. She loves the beach and spending time with friends and family.

Sara has been with our practice since 2009. She received her Dental Assisting and X-ray Certifications from New Horizons. Sara has a boxer named Darby and a cat named Chowder. She spends most of her free time hanging out with friends and family, baking and being outdoors.
